Team Tui Expo !

Task Description:

For about the whole term Team Tui had been preparing for the expo. Kia ora Guys, today Team Tui had an exhibition due to all of the hard work and effort put into our LCS for this term. This term I have been researching about the Tuiga (ceremonial headpiece)  as well as creating one.  I’ve really enjoyed the pressure as well as the frustration everyone was putting into their work. But advice for my future self would probably be to priortise my time wisely. Fa’afetai Lava, Malo.

Matariki Art

Task Description:

Team Tui has been working on art based around matariki since week 1 this term. Room 11 used contemporary abstract art as their choice of style. They created abstract taniwha faces and used shapes, lines and bold colours to complete their work. Some students chose not to colour their work, but rather include Zentangle (Zen-Tangle) patterns. Room 12 & 13 had to create a piece that included symbols as well as the name of 3 or more matariki whetu. I hope you enjoy my art:)
